Tucker’s First Christmas Letter Filed under: Uncategorized, Tucker’s Christmas — @ 7:52 am

Hi Everybody…I am Tucker. I know that Mom and Dad (ie Patti and Tom) have told ALL of you about me, but Mom says I’m old enough now to write to you myself…with a little bit of help from her, of course!

Anyway we have had a busy year. Last year at Christmas time, Mom went over the top on a HUGE Holiday Party. Tyler came and helped and he helped to arrange for a jazz band to entertain. A good time was had by all and the best part was some out of town friends, Karen and Rabun and Walt were able to come and stay with us, so I had lots of friends to play with me.

Of course the new year brought that Tax Season thing for Mom and she worked her little tail off again…but she still managed to take me for walks and I got to go to the office with her so I had lots of people to play with me there, too.

In January, Dad and his friend, Scott, put a door through between Dad’s office and Mom’s office so now I get to see Mom and Dad on a daily basis along with all the other people that come to play with me.

Mom made it through Tax Season and Mom and Dad went to Key West like they always do…without me, but I had a nice lady named Kim come and stay with me. Mom and Dad evidently had a great and busy time in Key West with a full house of friends including John and Helen, from Connecticut, Ken from Fort Myers and Peppi’s parents Don and Marlie (ie Mom’s parents too!) from The Villages. I have some pictures for you to see that they took having alot of fun, WITHOUT ME! Oh well, they came home and we settled into what I thought would be a fun summer.

Then THE RENTERS moved out of our other house that Mom used to live in. What a mess that was…Dad had to spend the whole summer fixing things. But he’s very good at that and he got almost all of it done. Then Mom and Dad decided to sell the house to Tyler (I LOVE Tyler!!). So he moved in sometime in September. He’s doing the rest of the fixing up. Mom told me that he got a CAT!! I don’t know about that, but maybe I’ll like her…her name is Kiley. Mom met her and said she’s very nice…BUT SHE’S A CAT!! Oh well, I’ll give her a chance. Tyler is still working as a manager at the Akron Downtown Radisson and is thinking about going back to school. He and Mom have long talks about this, but since he likes restaurant management, Mom thinks that it would be a good idea for him to get some additional training, and maybe he’d meet a nice girl. :=)

Mom did get to play some more golf this summer but Dad was just the handyman for the summer. They think that next summer will be more fun…as for me…my life is just fun!

Also during the summer Mom’s dad, Don, had another health bout and had to have some kind of fancy combination defibrillator/pace maker put in. I don’t know what that means, but Mom says that it will make him feel better so I’m sure that Peppi (their Pappillon son) will be glad for that. Mom’s mom, Marlie, said this week that Don was back out hitting golf balls…I wish I were there to chase them. But that must mean he’s feeling better. WOOF WOOF, that’s good. And the REALLY good news is that Don and Marlie are bringing Peppi to see me for the Christmas holidays. That’s a double WOOF WOOF!!

Mom and Dad had Thanksgiving at home with friends, Karen and her mother, and family Tyler, and Dad’s mother, Marty. It was so nice of them to all come to play with me. I love those holiday dinners, because I always get extra treats!! (The doggie kind…I don’t really like all that people food).

So now Mom is getting ready for Christmas again and trying to help me figure out this Blogging thing so you all can see our pictures for this year. We both think that Dad is going to have to help us…you know he’s the smartest computer guy.

Anyway, we didn’t have any really eventful things this year, just a lot of people for me to play with and I LOVE that. But we’re all healthy and happy and want to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy and prosperous New Year.

Happy Play Day, Tucker, Mom and Dad (ie Patti and Tom)

PS…Mom and Dad got the picture thing sort of worked out, so don’t forget to go to the top of my awesome letter in this blog and click on Poseys Pictures, to see our favorites for this year. And don’t be afraid to get in on this fun with us by posting your comments and let us know what you’ve been up to.
